About Us
INCHLOMO [in-chlo-mo] is a fashion, lifestyle and athleisure brand created by me - Chloe Mc Colgan & my twin girls Cleo & Kolbie (The Twinnies).
A quick run through my background; I am a Strabane native who moved to London to study Fashion Design at University where I created the idea of INCHLOMO - with the hope of one day running a fashion brand while being a mum which the name represents. In-Chlo-Mo is a play on the abbreviation 'In-Slow-Mo' therefore it is me taking the fashion industry at my own pace; In-Chloe-Motion rather than letting the fast paced crazy industry control my way of life - I let my life influence how I thrive in the industry.
Now, home on Irish soil and just recently opened our very own bricks and mortar shop on Derry's stunning Shipquay Street - neighbouring many amazing independent shops!
I have always known I wanted a job in fashion but I always doubted I would be able to commit to the industry as I knew my calling in life was always to be a mum, first and foremost. Looking back, I'm so grateful I was a determined wee risk taker that decided to start her own business and never give up alongside raising twins girls (she knew the vision). Both of these jobs ,I entered with zero experience and complete and utter optimism. Fast forward to today and here we are happy, healthy & thriving (my 3 favourite measures of success!).
INCHLOMO's Mama on a Mission Statement - "I always reflect on how I felt after my girls were born and remember how disconnected I felt from the once trendy, confident and carefree woman I used to be. So, I use this energy to motivate my brand to be the safe space women need where they can come to shop and know they are getting comfort, quality, affordability and most importantly confidence-boosting pieces to add to their wardrobe".
I personally find a lot of enjoyment in dressing the Twinnies and myself in stylish & comfortable outfits and we love being here to influence you and give you the confidence to do the same, as well as giving you a fresh and real insight into life as a brand owner/twin mummy. We love creating lots of fun wearable pieces for you to style especially our Mama & Mini pieces for all the Twinning moments!
